saturday morning

It was rather boring around here this morning. Coffee, Fleetwood Mac, dogs, eggs, rinse, repeat.

Somehow, watching trailers today I came across this and honestly I'm not even sure what it is or if I should like it but I'm really intrigued.

For the most part I just walked around Target and had an iced tea. Did you know that the Bryan Adam's song Summer of 69 is exactly the length from my house to Target? Driveway to parking stall, exactly. That may be the best thing I ever discover.

Also these pants? They give me a pants tent. Awkward.

This Saturday morning which quickly turned into Saturday afternoon was a busy one. Farmer's market, shopping, thrifting, antiquing, food and then so much rest. A few notes;

I should have bought that orange jumpsuit but I look oh so terrible in orange. If it were black or red it would have been mine.
That cat hung out by all the weird cups and it wanted to love on me so bad.
If Aadi and MJ had a baby.

I did a short reading for Chryshele because I felt like it was necessary. Always a good sign when your "conclusion" card says "death".

Then me and the doggies sat in the backyard and read some Harry Potter.

I slept in. I needed to. Somehow I stay up too late finding new discoveries on Netflix and I cannot fall asleep. So I slept in until eight. And then I decided to do some more learning.

That's basically what my life has come down to lately, you guys. That and eating wings.

Anyone else excited for Arrested Development day tomorrow? I just blew myself.

saturday morning

Earlier this morning I traveled to a yard sale held by two dear friends of mine Shaileen and Kurt. They're earning money towards their adoption process and Shaileen may make the best baked goods I've ever tasted. They're beautiful souls.

Afterwards I purchased a disco ball dress for tonights Best of State gala and I hope my sparkles aren't blinding. I have to look retro. So I may or may not have been googling MK Olsen looks to see how my hair and make up should be. Shut up, we all do it. My spirit animal just happens to be a weird little imp looking millionaire.

Don't hate.

I also spent the morning listening to Fleetwood Mac and singing really loudly to Rhiannon. Now I need more coffee.

saturday morning...

...yeah photos didn't happen. Get ready for a whole lotta words.

So this morning due to an early, lets call it an "appointment", me and the doggys took off in the Corolla and found ourselves at Starbucks. Whenever I do bring them in the car, Aadi takes her place on the passenger seat on top of my yoga mat and Moz somehow manages to fit directly behind my seat on the floor. The nice barista man greeted me and Aadi and complimented her muscles. Aadi is not buff, however there are certain angles in which her broad shoulders resemble a body builder. When we drove away the barista man bid me farewell and then in his best Ahrnold Schwarzenegger accent said Goodbye muscluar doggy.

Besides that I spent the day watching a bunch of photoshop tutorials. I'm determined to finally learn it if it kills me. I found an online course (with a bunch of other tutorials as well) and so now I get to embark on that fun adventure.

I know I'll never be able to write for a living so it's time to finally learn a fun skill. That way I can design menus for my future tea shop.

I'm thinking about dinner right now. I should probably change into a dress or something. My weekend attire as of late has been a pair of jean shorts and a big tee shirt and sandals. Sometimes I do my hair (Saturday is usually washing day). It depends. I don't know why I have clothes because seriously I wear the same thing every weekend.

I'm still thinking about food.

OKay there weren't that many words. And there was one photo.

Nothing too special about this Saturday morning. Oh wait. It's sunny so I went outside. In shorts. Sorry folks, you have to see the goddess of the pale in all her glory.

saturday morning

This is a pre-curser to the slightly busy Saturday that was had. Lots of walking around and driving around and waiting and eating. But all in all it was very productive.

Oh, and finally jumped on the Game of Thrones bandwagon. I dig.

New "series" we'll call it. Saturday mornings are relatively the same. I watch something, write a little, eat an egg, drink cold coffee because I forget it's sitting next to me and genuinely take my time getting moving. This weekend brings lots of things including weddings, singing, yard cleanup and Full House.
