dogs + yoga

I have ballet calves. Gross.

Today was a rather long day. I think I honestly checked out around noon and spent the rest of the day being very unproductive. I needed to de-stress before I started my night of Soprano watching and Candy Crushing so I decided after work, before food, I would do some yoga.

I should have put the dogs outside. Aadi liked my face in up and downward facing dog, Moz wouldn't get off my mat until I threw his t-o-y. I should have known. But there were too cute to ignore.

They did their job. They made me calm and not worry about work so I felt better. They did what I had intended yoga to do. So tomorrow morning when I wake up to do more yoga I'll let the dogs sleep in so that they don't piss me off and I'll take to the mat with good intentions and without doggy kisses. That sounds like a bad thing but they'll get their snuggles later.

a quiet evening

This is what an evening typically starts out as for us here. Bath and Six Feet Under with Aadi the voyeur, a little bit of dishes and pizza making. Not too shabby.

Sidenote this may be the funniest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. Add her to my list of people I wanna be.

...is rather good right now, I've been trying to do more enjoying of it so that being said I've missed a few blog posts. All is well in this hood, I assure you, it'll just be a little quieter during the holidays (which do include Halloween). But alas, I will be around with photos and pop culture references on occasion, you can bet your bottom dollar.

Bit of trivia, that title is also the name of an episode of the short lived Olsen twin show So Little Time. Oh yeah, and a movie I think.

Zack has a toy helicopter. It's pretty fun, though Aadi and Moz seem to think that it is a fly...that must be squashed quickly.

Things I've discovered this week:

-Hotel Hell and Bar Rescue are ridiculously addicting reality shows however now I never ever want to leave my house...thanks Gordon Ramsey and other guy who isn't Gordon Ramsey but tries to be like him.
-I feel like my face is shrinking because my glasses always fall off of my nose now. It's rather obnoxious.
-IS IT OCTOBER YET?

-Ocktoberfest with Zachary
-YOGA
-The Emmys on Sunday evening
-Shopping for Zachary's birthday even though he totally knows what he is getting

Truth be told, I was entirely too lazy to write the rest of my movie recap last night, so it'll be brought to you next week. However this weekend was a nice one. A few errands ran, loads upon loads of laundry done and some itchy grassy arms after a romp with my dogs in the backyard (basically I tried to tug of war a rope with Moz and he dragged me several feet across on lawn, it was a blast).

I'm one of the millions of people who are really excited for fall to get here. I need to wear my boots and sweaters though the weather hasn't exactly cooperated. And with all the flooding in southern Utah is it bad that I'm craving five days of rain straight? Yes.

I get to host a game night this week and I'm looking forward to it though not looking forward to cleaning. I am looking forward to entertaining with Zack and playing some Apples to Apples. That is how we roll here.

I'm up early today listening to Zack on The End this morning and Aadi has been drinking my coffee. I spilled most of it on the floor this morning. Oh it's totally a Monday.

celebrating presidents day with wow and doggy cuddles

Yesterday was fantastic for many reasons. One big one being I didn't have to attend day job (that basically means today is going to be hell, but whatevs). I got to stay home with Zack, work on my seriously out-of-tune World of Warcraft skills and cuddle with the doggies.



Moz is not big on cuddling with his mama, he definitely prefers his dad, so I felt quite elated when he decided to give me some cuddles as I played my game. He couldn't be any cuter right? In the meantime, I killed some uncontrolled voidwalkers (which I kept reading as wither Vodkawalkers or Voldemortwalkers) and all was well in Azeroth.

Oh yeah, and then we put a yarmulke on Aadi.

The doggys find Kurt's singing shrill and distracting, they only watch Glee for bad classic rock covers, which Kurt rarely entertains.

oh what a night and an accent vlob

Tonight after some much needed Big Bang Theory with Zack, I settled into bed to watch Home Improvement with the doggies while Zack worked his podcasting magic. All of this is what dreams are made of kids, take note.






And lastly, I've seen this accent vlog/vlob TWICE today, and apparently it's been around for a year. Who knew? So I thought I'd throw that in for good measure, double chin and all. Thanks to Bright Wishes and Crowley Party for posting them today!

rebecca black friday part II & yesterday

Alright so after a less than successful night getting crap at ye ole Target and Walmart (I'm really a grandma and need my sleep) I figured I'd venture out a bit today. We shall see how that goes, but I'm also Pretty excited to see The Muppets today as well. So far, weekend has been great!


Zack made some sweet potato pie while I watched the parade.


We let Kramer have a bit of wine.

Then we went to the park to play ball.






Then we ate A LOT....and you know the rest. :]

the long awaited snuggles

I still haven't figured out why it's 40 degrees in my room and 72 degrees in my house. Wasn't I just saying last night how my bed is so warm? For some reason, it's not today, yet I still have little Aadi with her festive sweater to cuddle with. One day I swear Moz will let me put one on him. He feels they are too confining.

pre-podcasting shenanigans

I'm sitting in our basement trying to figure out some content for tonight's podcast and downing nine cups of coffee so I don't fall asleep. Meanwhile, Mozzy decides he wants to come and drink my coffee. So I try to take some photos. And Mozzy hides. THEN I hear Zack and Kramer in the studio trying to get Gary Busey's ex-wife on the line...and...they may have been successful with that.






And now I think they're trying to call Jason Ellis. Or maybe they're watching Gary Busey videos on youtube. They all sound the same.

I'm really excited for Kayla's hot wings tonight. Nummy. Again.
