it's friday, friday

I wouldn't call this new music. And it's different from what I typically post, but bear with me. I could even put this in the "weird music from my childhood" posts I used to do (maybe start those up again?) because both of these songs are dear to my heart from when I was a wee one. And the best part is they are next to impossible to google unless you are either really amazing at translating or have a tie to them as a jumping-off point.

While sitting in Saffron Valley Friday evening I heard this song ring out and it took me back to being about six or seven and watching that damn Pure Moods commercial. I never knew who sang the song because obviously I didn't pay attention but I could sing it weird noise for weird noise. So yeah, you go ahead and try to google weird noises, youtube laughs at you. So then I remembered the song Return To Innocence was on that same Pure Moods cd, so I found the commercial and bam...Adiemus.

And so that led me on a crusade to find a song that my company danced to way back when which I thought sounded like Enya. It wasn't Enya. It was also Adiemus. And it's fracking fantastic.
