131. weird music from my childhood

How about a music video? I've thought about posting a bunch of weird music I used to listen to when I was little and then I thought no one would care...but I care and I want record so for that, you WILL pretend to care. And instead of doing it in one large post I figure I'll spread it around a bit (that's what she DIDN'T say, see? my joke girl is classy).

Today's video comes from an artist few have heard of I've found out. Suzy Bogguss. My dad had this cassette in his truck forever, probably because she was hot. She reminded me of one of my barbie dolls, Wedding Day Midge (I BEGGED for her for Christmas and won! Still waiting on that power wheel).

This was the "hit single" and I would sing it with my dad in the car...and it carried over to adulthood because I still bust it out when it comes up on my shuffle.
