I know how much everyone (one person) looks forward to type-o-tuesday and I promise it will be back next week. This week I'm still in holiday mode so I will leave you with a few links that I've been enjoying over the long weekend that I'm still pretending is happening. Enjoy!

Goodreads.com is kind of my obsession right now as I'm on my reading kick. It's a great way to get recommendations and track your progress. One friend mentioned to me she trusted these reviews more than the ones that come on Amazon because these are from "book people". Okay, Heather, I'm trusting you.
Sometimes I sit by my computer refreshing waiting for new posts from Oh Joy! and Bri Emery because I'm creepy like that, but I can't NOT love them.
I believe I've mentioned Oneword.com before, but it's a great way to write just s little bit daily. It's definitely helped me when I've been drawing a blank.

I have to say, even if you're not a drinker you can't help but agree that beer labels are usually pretty creative. Even as a kid I'd wander to the beer aisle (much to my parents dismay, I'm sure) and look at the colors and the labels and probably one of my first words was "Michelob" (I am kidding, my first word was ambidextrous). I thought for some of the beautiful typography that will be gracing my page today I'd go a little rogue and post some of the more creative beer labels. I'm not advertising, please drink responsibly and always be of age.

introducing: type-o-tuesday

I figured to start doing something weekly besides the epic as ever "It's Friday, Friday" so this will be the first of many type-o tuesdays (and also list-o-links, but that didn't really fit into the title). I have a few recurring segments but nothing really on a weekly rotating basis. So horray for a new start!

Today's Type-o-Tuesday will feature some awesome typography I've been coveting for future Shutt's room (not prego, no high kicks yet)! Boy or girl, there are some really adorable ideas floating out there that I'd love to take advantage of buying (or copying) when the time does come.
