The last two times I've purchased glasses I've gone for the nerdy red style. I think colored glasses add a little flare to something that can be super boring. Glasses are becoming more and more relevant and people are opting for them over contacts as a fashion statement. Last year I went rogue and settled for contacts over glasses, and now I'm really missing at least having the option of resting my eyes from the gooey, plastic lenses, especially days like today.
Here are a few styles that are intriguing me.

I first heard about the Oliver Peoples Deacon from Zack. He was looking into new glasses for himself and had been wanting these for a while. Let me tell you what an ordeal it was to even find them, they were sold out everywhere. Finally Zack obtained a pair and now I'm trying not to steal them. They're the classic black nerd frames, not too big or too small. But alas, I can't wear the same glasses as my husband, what will people say?

A little twist on the classic Rayban Wayfarer...I've been a fan of these frames since Don Henley proclaimed his love for the woman wearing them in The Boys Of Summer. These are a little smaller which I think, at least for my face, look a little better all-around and they have some fun colors.

These come in some lucious havana styles as well but I am always partial to the black/white frames. They're small enough to be girly, but without making you look like a creepy librarian (as opposed to a sexy librarian).

If I do decide to go with red frames yet again, I've already staked my claim on these. Thank you prada!!
Clearly I don't branch out a lot but these all have the sleek look I am interested in. Hopefully I will be rocking some sexy new frames in the next few months. I always feel smarter when wearing glasses, I know it's a stereotype but it still works for me.
