I must say, these images are all over pinterest and I'm kind of obsessing over them. Ban.do has the most sparkly holiday line this year and I wish I could have all of it. I don't know what it is about sparkles and sequins this year but I'm really loving it. I can finally put all of those old dance costumes to use!

I have to say thank you to my dear friend Sarah for letting me borrow this dress today. Trust me, I really wish I could say it's mine. It is probably the most fantastic piece of clothing I have ever put on my body. Gah. So thank you Sarah, I look forward to you sharing clothes with me anytime. I rarely have friends I can share clothes with, and the fact that Sarah has amazing taste in clothes just adds to the billion reasons that I love her.

In the last few days I've seen Beso mentioned on Cup Of Jo and Apartment 34 and so I decided to finally check it out. I haven't given it too much attention yet, but I plan to tonight. What I'm gathering so far is that it's an easy way to compile your online shopping locations to one site. I have to say I'm really intrigued by this and even though I'm not an avid online shopper this site may make me just that. Greaaat.

Somehow this dress makes me look like I'm with child or just had one too many mozzarella sticks. It is no secret that anything fried is my weakness. Yum.

a little fashion

Though I'm sure Zack will differ I am not a fashion blogger. I've said this before and I will say it again. I have absolutely nothing to offer the fashion world besides being the copycat that I am.

With the invention of pinterest (thank you Ben), it is not easier for us ladies (and hell, some men) to be a little more creatively daring with their outfit choices. I have found outfits on that site that I probably would never have been able to concoct before and most of them have turned out surprisingly well (there are some where I've looked like a puffy treasure troll, won't wear that again. I figured I would share a few of my favorites as well as combinations and some that I've even successfully pulled off. I find that I tend to not be as frumpy if I try to rip these off, and that makes everyone happy because we all know what I look like when I don't try.

It may be too cold for this now, but I'm already figuring out how to wear it next year.


I've been scouring the DI and random thrift stores for a skirt even remotely resembling this. So far, no luck.


I believe I am trying this tomorrow, we shall see how it works out...

At least outfit organizing has never been easier, I don't even really have to shop anymore, just add a cardi here and there and most of the things in my closet will take on new life if I just pair them up with something ridiculous!

I'm off early today which brings me much joy. Having vacation time rules, though I have a lot of reading/research to do so I will still be "doing stuff". At least when I leave work early I'm slightly productive.

There are so many things I need to do with the holidays coming up. We need to design a Christmas card, we need to make goodies for the three neighbors that we have...I have so much to plan on and so many ideas to choose from that I'm completely procrastinating.

I love this time of year, I truly do.
