I've been reading a lot about meditation. I'll be honest, I have no idea how to do it. I've tried and tried and getting all thoughts to exit my brain is proving to be one of the most difficult things ever. During my last few yoga sessions I've made extra efforts to take note of how many times thoughts pop up while I'm trying to breathe and be one. Let me tell you, it's A LOT. Seriously it can be something as simple as "After this I need to go grocery shopping..." or "Man, I hope that Sally's is open so I can buy hair dye today...but the thoughts are there and sometimes they distract me. I need to figure out how to concentrate on my breathing and reach that level. It can be done, with practice.
