moab, i am in you: part two (image heavy)

So after our day of rafting and sight-seeing, we decided we NEEDED good grub (and beer). We'd overheard the Italian's on our rafting crew talking about Woody's Tavern and The Moab Brewery. The tavern was very quaint and retro, so we had a drink there, then went to the Brewery for the food. Decided to walk a bit on Main Street before heading home to crawl into bed. We were go, go, go from 8am, it was time to rest.

The next morning we went out for breakfast at Love Muffin Cafe. VERY diet friendly if you're looking for that sort of thing on vacation (which I was after the onion rings and beer from the night before). I would recommend the Wescial Burrito (scrambies, potatoes, bacon and green chiles, man). We ate and sipped their coffee there before wandering a few miles to Arches National Park.

Man, I cannot even describe it there, the photos do nothing justice until you see how huge these things actually are. GO TO MOAB RIGHT NOW.

On the way back, we stopped at that really creep cemetery I mentioned yesterday. Honestly, we stayed for maybe five minutes, it was entirely too eerie, gave me the heebies you guys. Plus there was a sign that said "Rattlesnake Area" and I'd rather not mess with that.

Mom? I got you a rock.

And that is it, I can't believe it's over, and I'm already planning on heading back next year.

Before I go, a few pictures of the vineyard.

Oy.

  1. It looks like you have a fun trip to Moab! I wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes in a creepy cemetery, no way... forget about it! :)
