the idaho trip part 2 - the part where we didn't almost die

I am forsaking type-o-tuesday today to bring you the second leg of our trip (I am sorry, Brek, next week will be epic just for you). This was a much better, much happier, much more vacationey part of our vacation. Considering the hell we'd just endured any and all hotels were looking like heaven at this point. Let me back up...

So, after leaving the scariest hotel in the universe we traveled to Pocatello for some breakfast. Driving around a bit and eventually ending up back in Lava Hot Springs to enjoy the actual hot springs. After spending far too much in change to get a locker we spent almost exactly 25 minutes in the hot pools. After the novelty wore off we decided it best to just find a decent hotel and settle in for the evening.

We found a quaint little hotel off of the freeway that had a lounge, a pool, a sauna, a pool table and no kitchenette and we were sold. We didn't even have to leave the frickin' hotel to have a good time, this is JUST what we needed.

THE HOTEL THAT WAS NOT SCARY.

After settling in, I took a small nap since I'd had about fifteen minutes of sleep before, and Zack and Kramer went exploring. After they'd come back, we consumed some food and went to the pool. I'm not much of a swimmer but I was sold by the giant statue of a bear holding a fish that turned into a waterfall. Sadly I did not take a photo of such statue, but I assure you, it was amazing.

We ate, we drank, visited the pool and the lounge and visited a nice little gas station and won $3 in lotto ticket money. Zack and Kramer had decided to try and find more food while I headed back to the room and watched Pretty Woman with Aadi. Upon their return we all promptly passed out in the soft beds with clean, non-ripped sheets.

The drive home was not that bad, and we all arrived home safely after a battle with our stomachs over what I am convinced was a bad Jack-In-The-Box breakfast. I've NEVER been so happy to be home from a Vacation, even if the second half wasn't terrible in any way. I think I was still slightly traumatized from night number one.

This was a much less exciting entry. I apologize. It's boring to write about fun, I guess.
