Ah, even as a new Buffy fan, this band has already made an impact. Maybe it's Seth Green rocking the bass or the belly shirts worn by the lead singer...I cannot decide.
4. Mystic Spiral (Daria)
Where they almost changed their name to Helpful Corn while on the way to Alternapalooza, Mystic Spiral will have a soft spot in my 13 year old heart. They were so edgy.
3. The Whits/Jim Valenti and the Kit Shickers (Roswell)
I still wouldn't mind being Maria De Luca. And how adorable is baby Colin Hanks? Man, The Whits we're an awesome band, too bad they only showed up in one episode.
And for whatever reason I cannot find one single video of Jim Valenti and the Kit Shickers, be it their rendition of If I Had A Million Dollars or Paradise By The Dashboard Light, but I assure you when a 50-something year old ex-sheriff decides to start a lounge band I'm on board.
2. Zack Attack (Saved By The Bell)
Zack Attack - Friends Forever by ray548
So speaking as Zack Morris's youngest ex-girlfriend (we dated in my mind my entire childhood), I have always felt a special connection to this song. I was enveloped in the world where Zack Attack ruled the world, and how could they not? Plus, I really wanted to wear Kelly's sparkle dress.
1. Jesse and the Rippers (Full House)
For some reason this video always creeped me out, but there is no doubt that the song is a classic and fantastically done. Even if they are a fake band, we will all love Jesse and the Rippers...forever.
Honorable mention? 2Gether. I will never get sick of this song.
I always wished Jesse and the Rippers would come play at my birthday. I kind of remember who 2gether is, but need a reminder.
ReplyDeleteYou know 2gether is planning a reunion right?
