Also knows as the "terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day" for sake of dramatic effect. I'm back home in bed because my breakfast coffee certainly didn't agree with me this morning and I'm tired and blah. All I wanted to do when my alarm went off this morning was to throw it against the wall and stay in the confines of my quilt snuggled next to Zack and Aadi but alas, I knew I was needed elsewhere. Lucky for me I looked like death so when I casually mentioned my need to skip out early my boss obliged with her blessing. I do have a cool boss. So I made the trek home driving in the 40 degree (which felt like 20) weather and now I am back, perched on my bed. The question is now posed: what do I do? I can't work from home (which has it's good and it's bad), I have some blog posts to finish up but those can wait. When I have days like this, where I feel craptastic and don't know why there are only a few things that fix it:
-snuggles
-comfort food (aka mac and cheese (so what if I had it for dinner last night too))
-bad tv on youtube (Home Improvement)
-tea or coffee (tea today since coffee made me gnarly)
-more snuggles
It's warm inside my room again and it's absolutely freezing outside so I'm going to take this golden opportunity to lounge about, eat carbs, sleep on and off and just recoup so that tomorrow I am back with the program.
sorry you're not feeling well...hope the day of rest helps out! and the mac and cheese is a given...especially the blue box kind. :)
