161. i cry, too.

Hello all, long time no bloggy. I thought I'd stop by today to share my top 3 favorite chick flicks. There all movies I watch when I'm feeling down and no, they don't perk me up, but they do give me a sense of calm and nostalgia from my younger days.

3.GHOST


How I love this movie. Seriously. And as much as I love the two primary characters, Whoopi Goldberg honestly makes the movie. Sometimes Zack (husband, who I will now just call Zack...cause clearly that's his name based on the URL) and I will yell across the room at each other "SAM WHEAT" in our best Whoopi voice.

2.DIRTY DANCING


This movie is timeless...and hey, more Swayze! Can't go wrong there. As a former "dancer" this movie was one of the best memories of my childhood, dancing to "Hungry Eyes" in my bedroom for hours. I still would do that if Zack didn't make fun of me.

DON'T HATE. Seriously, I like this better than Grease, I'm sorry. No wait, I'm not, because this movie defined my childhood. I started watching the last 20 minutes of that movie when I was probably 6 years old, my mom would swoop me up and and we'd twirl like they do in the last dancing scene.
