114. some of the fundays

So....this weekend (or week? Well...Wednesday to Monday) we had some friends come and visit for a semi-wedding reception lunch with some family. It was a very good time, even though they made Husband and I do a bunch of traditional wedding stuff. No offense to traditional wedding stuff AT ALL. Don't get me wrong. We're shy, and socially limited so to have all eyes on us is intimidating. I guess I really shouldn't speak for husband, but at least for me, I feel so awkward!! Anyway, it was nice and it felt good to be around people that love us and wanted to share our relationship.

Kramer and Star visited for the festivities. Star and I go back to when I was 18, she lives in Jersey, I live here (Utahhhh). We met online on some Good Charlotte message boards, I am totally serious. And here we are seven years later. Kramer and Husband met online, but I'm sure not on any Good Charlotte boards, and conveniently, Kramer lives in Jersey as well. So Star and Kramer flew out here together to hang. We had some good adventures, showed them the sites. It felt nice to just hang out.

Star took a bunch of pictures, I really....didn't. Cause I suck. I will steal them from her as well and get them up tomorrow or something. I promise.

Today was a much much MUCH needed relaxation day full of laundry, dusting, taking out garbage and dishes. Then husband and I spent a few hours watching The Departed which was fantastic, and then some more tv on the newly discovered (by us) Hulu Plus. Screw regular tv, I can watch hours of the The X-Files for cheapo. Booyah cowboys.

That is all I have to say about that.
