(Day 1- A picture of yourself with 10 facts)

1. This photo was taken when Almost Husband and I went to Park City for a night almost a year ago. One night I was complaining that I was weighed down from work and life, and I went to sleep early. He came up to bed and told me that the next evening we were going away to a fancy schmancy hotel in Park City! I'd never been in a hotel that nice, they had a freaking kitchen and a fireplace and it was very sweet and romantic.
2. I used to hate sheets and now I love them. I have no idea how this happened, I used to never have them on my bed because I'd always get tangled in them and now they are the best thing about my bed! So freaking weird.
3. My favorite song is Africa, by Toto. Yep, that song you hear as you wander the aisles of the grocery store. In fact, that is where my love of it grew. I worked at the lovely Smith's Food & Drug as a bagger in Farmington many moons ago and when I used to wander the store and clean garbage cans for some reason that is when it would come on the playlist.
4. I have a stuffed snuggle bear:

It's no longer as fluffy as that one, but alas, I've had it since I was 1. My grandma (Catholic grandma is what we call her) gave it to me and I still cart it around with me when I'm sad.
5. I get really afraid of traffic. I'm better now at driving where I'm unfamiliar, but I still don't like packed parking lots or busy streets, they make me very nervous.
6. In the shower I either sing songs from RENT or Mandy Moore's song Gardenia which I think is so lovely.
7. I don't really like TOM's.
8. My first car was a VW Corrado...they're pretty rare.

9. All I wanted as a kid was a power wheel. I never ever had one. I will probably immediately buy my kid a power wheel once he/she is born.
10. This post over at LiFE is Sweet reminded me of something that happened! Yesterday at work, my pal Lindsay and I were talking about maternity photos where the mom-to-be show off their baby bump while holding the piece of fruit that the growing baby resembles (that post showcases that perfectly!). My other friend, April, brought me over an orange and I made the joke about how the orange was the size of the baby I am carrying is (clearly not...I think an orange is 15 weeks!) and one of the gentleman that sit by me takes off his head set and looks at me smiling and says "OH MY GOODNESS ARE YOU GUYS HAVING A BABY!?!?!" I almost didn't want to tell him no! I quickly crushed his happiness and told him that we were just talking about the fruit...and its really funny because his wife had just had a baby and she did the exact same thing for her maternity photographs. It got me a giggle.
Jordan.
Toto. Amazing!
