I want to start this off by saying I really miss Dexter. A loveable serial killer, does that make me weird? Hey you guys like Twilight, I like Dexter.
We started watching it back in like...August? We lost interest and then we started up again watching Season 2 and basically we finished it all in a few weeks. I'm dying now waiting for Season 6. Anyone else watch??
Okay item number two...I was inspired today by a friends blog talking about their weight loss goals. After reading it, I managed to eat not 2 but 3 helpings of a potluck we had at work. Mmm potato salad, chips, pulled pork. Oh and dessert. Super. So now I'm begging Almost Husband for us to go to the gym tonight so I can just burn it all off on the eliptical.
We have made some goals to go hiking and all that this summer and I'd like to be able to do it without dying. I've never been good at weight loss, I can't really diet because food is too awesome, I am not big on exercising, ever since I quit ballet and all that I've not been able to be any sort of athletic. I used to run and I'd like to start doing that again but I just get so frustrated. Where we live now there is this fantastic rec center near us and I can see the runners from the my front lawn and I often get jealous. I think we are going to night...if not...this weekend.
Okay and also, where almost every blog I read they have these ADORABLE kiddos (i.e. IROCKSOWHAT, LiFE is sweet and Three Birds) it of course makes me want an adorable kiddo...someday. In the meantime, I have some crazy dogs, I'm the dog lady.
After we got home from our trip we found that Aadi liked to cuddle in the laundry. Tender.
Sometimes when I hold her I feel she looks like a creepy ceramic statue.
They ALL THREE crowd around the food bowl. Poor Moz can't even eat, the other two growl at him. Sadface.
Gah. Love them.
I went to Target yesterday. That is my happy place. I'd get married there if I could. In the aisle with all the bedding.

ReplyDeleteI'm with Jenni, I need to check out Dexter! And we want to get outdoors and go on some great hikes this spring/summer too!! :) Jordan, you are so sweet...you are going to be a stellar mom! You dogs are adorable :) That picture of your pup statue cracked me up ;)
ReplyDeletei LOVE dexter. Nick and I started it in August or so as well and watched all of the seasons so quickly that we were able to actually watch the last 5 on Showtime on Sunday evenings. I miss that. It has been killling me. The other day I read that they just started filming season and all i could think was "WTF! JSUT STARTED! KILLLLL ME NO, peas!"
