So ever since I've moved in I've hated my bedroom. H.A.T.E.D. it. Mainly, the colors (seafoam mint?...oddly enough that's one of my wedding colors....well the seafoam part...) and white. I'm not a bright-like person. Not. So, that being said, with the gross weather we were supposed to have today I decided it would be the day to paint.
Zack and I set out to Lowes with green in mind. We had a green comforter, we figured hey, we'll just get a richer green and maybe opt for a purple comforter (REMEMBER I SAID THAT!), but once we got there our moods turned to red (go figure?) so...wine glass it was.
Painting is a huge pain in the ass, sorry to say. I'll hire someone next time because frankly it was annoying. Okay the actual painting wasn't too bad but the freaking trim, mopboards, whatever sucked too bad. I still don't like that part, but I am willing to work on it.
That being said, here are some before and after shots. We mess around mostly.
ALSO our dearface friend Randi showed up with our practice wedding cake. We almost ate the whole thing. It's soooo effing good and it's going to be so perty.
