Why hello there?
This week has been fun. Monday was my official birthday and when I got to work I saw that my 6x6 box that I spend my days in had been decorated!
It was very festive! At work, the way we do birthdays is the person who's birthday it is is in charge of decorating and planning the next persons birthday, so my co-worker Vickie was in charge of mine (always is). She makes the most amazing cherry cheesecake and she's nice enough to make me 2 every year so I have a little extra.
The other night I came home and our friend Kat, the gal who tidy's our home, had left us a fun little message on our fridge!

Since we're coming upon Christmas I decided that I was going to make some treats to take to work today. Last night Zack and I made gingerbread men. They turned out pretty rad. The recipe that I used wasn't traditional gingerbread but a recipe for a cookie called Pfefferneuse, I think they're a little stronger and so I dig them more.

My work is like a school. We have set break times (recess), we're graded daily (stats) and we have a cafeteria. Today, keeping in line with elementary, we played Bingo to see if anyone got to leave early...
Clearly I did not win.
The next few days should be busy busy. There may or may not be some temple square lights to see tonight along with potential ice skating, tomorrow we have my family Christmas party which is always really dramatic...Christmas morning we have breakfast with Zack's family and then off to my mom's for some snacks.
I love this time of year....sometimes.
Oh! Your blog is so much more fun now that you can take photos of everything! And your cookies are super cute and very "domestical."
